Study of the use of the neologism in a schizophrenic patient

La création de néologisme peut être pensée comme la nécessité pour le psychotique de créer un nouveau univers, à travers une utilisation omnipo- tente des mots, pou remplacer le fragment de réalité qu'il ne peut tolérer. L'utilisation de ces néologismes permet alors au patient de gérer la distan- ce à l'autre, et de le maintenir éloignée quand il se sent trop en danger, faute d'une pare-excitation assez efficace.

Creating neologisms can be throught as a need for a psychotic patient to create a new universe, throught the omnipotent use of words, to replace the piece of reality that be can't put up with. Using these neologism then, zenables the patient to deal with the distance between the other, and to keep him at a distance when he fells highly endangered for lack of an effi- cient shield against excitation.
