Une nouvelle liste de livres hébreux conservée à la Bayerische Staatsbibliothek de Munich

Abstract : A new corpus of medieval Hebrew fragments of manuscripts and documents from Provence and Comtat Venaissin has recently come to light in the BayerischeStaatsbibliothek of Munich. Among them, the document Cod.Hebr.510/15H1 originates from Avignon and entails a list of c. 50 books representing a private library of an anonymous physician. The aim of this paper is to present the material features of the document, to edit and to identify the titles mentioned in the list. The analysis provides also elements of datation (near 1383) as well as a cross-compared study with other similar material. The study of the Jewish medieval libraries and the circulation of Hebrew knowledge in the middle ages are hence renewed.
