Les intellectuels espagnols face à la Guerre civile (1936-1939)

Abstract : The 1936 Spanish Civil War means in Spain the end of the traditional intellectual , signing manifestos, making speeches and writing articles for the newspapers. His means of action and expression have become useless. He is hold responsible for the failure of the Republic, accused of all evils. After having been everything, the intellectual was nothing. Ortega notices. Some had taken the route of exile, others had become militants.
