L'éducation au patrimoine: pourvoyeuse de savoirs et/ou au service des territoires

Abstract : The "school structure" has undergone several evolutions, including the recent «educations to» trends; These call for specific local features and therefore assign an educational function to territories. This article deals with the emergence of "education to heritage" and differentiates the academic field of knowledge (ex: heritage through the history of art) from the territory based approaches (ex: the shool-territories projects). The aim is to analyze how this “education to” modifies the “school structure”. Question such as the legitimacy of local-based knowledges, the variety of assessment procedures, their underlying implicit values and objectives are explored.
