Rationalizing the F center dot center dot center dot S interaction discovered within a tetrafluorophenylazido-containing bola-phospholipid

Abstract : A bola-lipid bearing tetrafluorophenylazido chromophore in the diacyl chain displayed puzzling F-19 NMR, leading to the evidence and rationalization of a F center dot center dot center dot S weak interaction that is important for altering molecular structures and imposing novel and special properties on fluorinated compounds.
