Dynamique et topologie des vortex magnétiques

Abstract : The magnetization texture in ferromagnetic nanostructures often possesses a nontrivial topology, as in the case of vortices or Skyrmions. Under the action of a spin-polarized current, this texture evolves through the effect of the spin-transfer torque. We investigate the dissipation mechanisms responsible of the topological changes and generalize the Landau-Lifshitz equation in order to take into account the topology source.
