Suite à une consultation de manuscrits latins à la BMVR de Marseille

Abstract : At the invitation of our colleague Valérie Naudet, professor of Letters at Aix-Marseille University, Member of the CIELAM, Interdisciplinary Center for the Study of Literatures of Aix-Marseille, EA4235, I attended a session of consultation of Latin manuscripts in the BMVR of the Alcazar in the framework of a seminar of Master 1 and 2 In Modern Letters. With the authorization of the conservators of the old BMVR fonds, it was possible to observe a medieval encyclopedia copied in the 14th century, Sidrac or the Book of the Fountain of all sciences (anonymous philosophical novel written in French at the end of XIIIth century), a book of Hours for the use of Thérouanne (XIIIth century), namely a liturgical book intended for the faithful lay Catholics, in this case the sponsor was a woman, and another book of Hours to The use of Troyes (XV century).
