La prise en charge des enfants par les membres de SOS PAPA : une analyse des conditions matérielles de la transmission culturelle

Abstract : If recent studies show that the first dispute within family justice is linked to the financial support of children, fathers rights’ groups’ publicize this issue less ans less. In the light of a field research conducted in France within the association SOS PAPA from 2008 to 2012, we will see that money issues and maintenance of children are still relevant. Money issues are first evacuated by the social selection carried out by the association during the recruitment of its members. Fathers nevertheless inscribe their commitment in a strong desire for economic transmission, at the antipodes of the daily maternal education.
