Savoirs académiques et savoirs militants : dialogue croisé

Abstract : This text is a communication presented at the last « Tâches du Présent ». This unique experience of auto-analysis of a « dynamic three poles system » will be presented as a dialogue between the researcher and the militant. Different examples are questioned by the following concepts : primacy of academic knowledge, disciplinary concepts and global concepts, battle among schools of thought, collective knowledge, neutral knowledge and committed knowledge. If the confrontation of these two learning sources confirms their commensurability, « knowledge gained from experience, therefore specifically informal, is no less knowledge », it invites us to ask the epistemological question of work knowledge and to state the necessity of « re-normalize » this knowledge. Which is a difficult and uncomfortable exercise.
