Le travail dans une perspective philosophique

Referring back to two questions, namely ‘has philosophy come across the world of work ?’ and if so, was it as an object or a foreign material (according to Canguilhem’s concept), the author shows that while work can be expected to provide an introduction to practical human issues, it has to be made into an object of research, as if it were not naturally and spontaneously an object that tradition has well defined but rather to a certain extent a domain still considerably foreign to scholarly knowledge.

En partant de deux questions : la philosophie a-t-elle rencontré le travail ? Et si elle l'a rencontré, était-ce pour elle un objet ou une matière étrangère (au sens de Canguilhem) ?, L'auteur montre que s’il faut attendre du travail une introduction à des problèmes humains concrets, il faut se mettre en étude du travail, comme s'il n'était pas naturellement, spontanément, un objet déjà bien cerné par la tradition, mais, à certains égards, un continent largement étranger au savoir académique.
