L’opera di Sciascia nella Francia degli anni Sessanta: il contesto letterario e culturale

Abstract : The articles evokes the place of Leonardi Sciacia among the Italian literary works translated in France in the 1960s. At this moment, the Italian authors are very successful. Their works give a certain image of Italy and Italians in France. Sciascia is first perceived in France as a Sicilian writer. French critics and readers also understand the political dimension of Sciascia's books. However, it was not until the 1970s that the influence of enlightenment was noted.
