What Is the Relationship between Stereotyping and the Place of Religion in the Public Sphere?

This essay provides some insights and poses some questions about the link between the role of religions in the public sphere and negative stereotyping. With a specific interest in the legal dimension of this role, we would like to see if the one system produces more or less stereotyping and prejudice than the other.
