Équilibre budgétaire, un principe constitutionnel impossible ?

Abstract : The appropriateness of enshrining the principle of balanced budgets in the Constitution has, for several years, been a recurring question posed by doctrine. The question of whether this principle can be constitutionalized has been less often debated as the answer seems obvious. However, we intend to return to the elements which allow us to affirm that such a constitutionalizing is possible. We will therefore see that it depends essentially on political will since there is no provision preventing this principle from being included in the Constitution.
