Du Prix de l’âme aux enquêtes du commissaire Habib : dynamiques dissensuelle et transculturelle

Abstract : The political dimension of Moussa Konaté’s early novels is revealed, in connection with his 1990 historical essay, through ruptured opening scenes. These fictions created between 1975 and 1988, and mobilizing a rhetoric of denunciation, work to question shared evidence and convey a dynamic of dissensus with a democratic vocation. The turn taken between 1989 and 1991 with the advent of the detective series does not mark a return to convention, but rather a new form of critical questioning of the role of the intellectual and of the national paradigm.
