De l’éducation inclusive à une communauté éducative pour tous

Abstract : Despite the fact that current literature and many international policy guidelines do invite schools to implement inclusive education, access to education at their local school is far from being a right that is granted to all children. This special issue offers to reflect on the central role played by the inclusive school communities. The articles emphasize how the implementation of inclusive education is the responsibility not only of the school personnel but also all the key stakeholders who are committed to take down the barriers leading to exclusion. This editorial first lays the foundation of this inclusive education community by aiming on its teaching methods and training. Secondly, it provides context for the articles in this special issue, all of whom contribute to a reflection undertaken during a conference held by the Réseau de recherche en éducation et en formation (REF) in 2015. The overall goal is to explore the nature of the knowledge and skills shared by the inclusive school communities within the school setting or outside of it.
