The Franco-Italian International Associated Laboratory MediterraPolis – urban spaces, mobility, citizenships. Southern Europe and the Mediterranean, 15th-21st centuries focuses on urban studies in the Mediterranean. It associates history (from the end of the Middle Ages to the contemporary period) and social sciences (sociology, demography, geography, anthropology). International and comparative research tool, the LIA is based on the dialogue between French and Italian traditions of urban studies. It implements an interdisciplinary approach over a long time period of urban phenomena in Southern Europe in relation to the Mediterranean. The MediterraPolis LIA involves (2018-2021):
