Le suicide est-il le meurtre de soi-même ?

Abstract : The suicide, defined by the Priest Desfontaines as "the murder of one- self, testifies a violence toward oneself. The freudian's text "Mourning and Melancholia" revealed to us that, in delusional melan- cholia, in fact violence bursted against an object to which the subject was identified. .Consequently, the murder of oneself is the murder of the other in the subject. This freudian conception of the suicide bears the stamp of the melancholic paradigm presented when Freud's mode- lised the psychosis. However, it's appear that suicide can be also reali- zed in non psychotics conditions (structure or state). If so, do we have to conceive that all suicide is psychotic (in M.Laufer's extended accep- tation), or the suicide of the neurotic, the borderliner's one aren't base on an ego's alienation similar to melancholia, and consequently aren't the murder of the object in the self ? Authors propose, from clinic and psychoanalytical texts, an other interpretation of violence.
