Summary: From a psychoanalytic point of view, the foreigner's extimacy concerns each individual in his relationship with enigma that is in and out of him. This is what makes up the essence of the processes of subjectivity and the modes of otherness. Or what is the way on how to maintain the relationship to the other and to anyone on the state of civilization? It is from a psychoanalytic and anthropological approach, based on clinical practice and the mutation of the social link, that the relationship to a foreigner is questioned. Relationship that can lead to creativity but also to ruin, when it does not open up to otherness, when it is being carried to the other, the dissimilar, the heterogeneous in a strong desire to cut an inside and an outside, and to fetishize the difference.

Resumé : D’un point de vue psychanalytique , l’éxtimité de l’étranger concerne chaque sujet dans son rapport à l’énigme qui est en lui et hors de lui. C’est ce qui fait le ressort des processus de subjectivation et des modes d’altérité . Or qu’en est –il actuellement de la manière d’entretenir le rapport à l’Autre et au tout Autre dans l’actualité de la civilisation ? C’est à partir d’une approche psychanalytique et anthropologique , s’appuyant sur la pratique clinique et les mutations du lien social, qu’est questionné le rapport à l’étranger , rapport qui peut conduire à la créativité mais aussi à la ruine , lorsqu’il ne parvient pas à ouvrir sur l’altérité et qu’il est reporté sur l’autre, le dissemblable, l’hétérogène dans un souci forcené de cliver un dedans et un dehors, de fétichiser la différence .
