« La musique juive dans l’univers concentrationnaire de Terezin », in Topique n° 142 (« L’art face au pouvoir »), L’Esprit du Temps, 2019, pp. 53-67.

Abstract : For composers and other Jewish musicians who were deported, music became a means of resisting terror and, more than anything, a way of fighting back against Nazi ideology, from within the concentration camp system itself. It is possible to question whether Jewish concentration camp music has specific characteristics that marked a turning point in the history of music; this article seeks to respond by exploring the musical life of Terezín.
