Singapour, ville de demain ou dystopie d'aujourd'hui

Abstract : Singapore, city of tomorrow or today’s dystopia – Since its independence, the city-state of Singapore has planned its development by constantly seeking to make the most of capitalism and by integrating as well as possible into international competition. In 2019, the metropolis thus ranks first among global smart cities. It is also labeled a creative city by Unesco and has a large cultural and event offering in order to attract as many tourists as possible. The covid-19 pandemic will suddenly halt the economic development of the island, but its policy of integrating digital technologies associated with a strong political regime, will help limit the health impacts of the coronavirus pandemic.
