In musicology, as in many other artistic fields, the question of the body is at the center. All sensory experiences are implemented through and with the body. It is also through an acquired instrumental technique, internalized and automated, that the musician is able to interpret a piece. But are these standard practices not the source of bodily tensions that are harmful, to the instrumental practice and even the physical well-being of the musician? Are these acquired automatisms in total contradiction with a possible "corporal readability" of the music ?

En musicologie, comme dans de nombreux autres domaines artistiques, la question du corps est centrale. C'est par lui que toutes les expériences sensorielles sont mises en oeuvre. C'est aussi au travers d'une technique instrumentale acquise, intériorisée puis automatisée que le musicien est capable d'interpréter un morceau. Cet apprentissage normé n'est-il pas, cependant, à l'origine de tensions corporelles nuisibles à la pratique instrumentale et au bien-être physique du musicien ? Ces automatismes acquis ne sont-ils pas en contradiction totale avec une possible « lisibilité corporelle » de la musique ?
