Etude de l’impact des difficultés langagières des élèves allophones sur leur activité mathématique

Abstract : This study concerns the language difficulty's impact on multilingual newcomers regarding their mathematical abilities, in French primary and secondary schools. The results of numerical and in presence tests achieved by these students are gathered and analysed in the frame of the national multidisciplinary investigation entitled Evascol. Taking into consideration qualitative and quantitative outcomes, we target to enhance pedagogical practice for both language and mathematics teaching.
